I recently came across this blog called Life In Her Heels and I am so in love! She's super cute and funny and stylish and creative and just love her! She's become a great inspiration to dress cute, shop cheaper, and add style to my wardrobe because we all now it's lackng..... This Valentines Day has been very special to me. Jordan and I have been trying to spend way more time together ever since we have been working so much. We seem to never be home at the the same time, except for a few hours here or there and when we sleep. I've been making sure any night he is home to make him dinner and watch his show's with me, and whenever he's home all day he makes sure to help around the house, and yes he even watch's my girly show's every now and then to.

I wanted to tell him how much I LOVE him and how thankful I am for him in my life! Here are a few things that I LOVE about Jordan.......

Valentines Day Cookies

So....Want to know what I spent my WHOLE saturday doing!!!! Well, I guess I don't have to tell you! You can see it right here!

My mom and I wanted to make some cookies for friends and family and I decided to make 8 PLATES! I had even more people in mind, but after frosting 48 cookies I was about worn out! I did have fun writing cute messages though and have an even better idea for how i'm going to decorate them next year!!!

Here at the Wolfe house it's always a tradition to make sugar cookies. Doesn't matter the holiday, there just that good we just have to make them! We always make them for christmas, and we did this last year I just forgot to take pictures and post them all up! But, for v-day I just had to make them cause well, there SOO Good! Not going to lie, since saturday, Jordan and I have finished of 3 plates!!! lol I know really bad and not so great when we're both trying to eat smart! But to make the night even better, we ended it with going to Red Robin! How's that for a healthy saturday! We enjoyed it though! Yummy cookies, Yummy Burgers, Time with Family, Time Together!

I have out some to Jordan's family for FHE at our place on Sunday night and to a few of our married friends here in town and in Idaho Falls and left the rest for us to devour! Good thing there's only one plate left! :-) and guess what, Jordan works tonight! Mwuaahhhh!! Just kidding, I'll save him...one!

Well, this Valentines day has been very well celebrated and it's not over yet!!!!!!

Conversation Hearts & Decor

Ok, so first, ignore all of the random pictures and frame's and ect. behind the couch, I still haven't gotten around to hanging ANYTHING on the walls, but no fear, tomorrow we will hopefully got some up with the help of Jordan's mom and sisters!!! lol But, I wanted to share my cute decorations on one of our tables with you before v-day is totally gone right! Well, I spent one of our not so busy nights, watching one of jordan's show's and making this cute converstation heart cone! I found this idea while I was browsing a TON of blogs for ideas of cute, cheap, easy ideas for v-day and this is one I had to do, because well, I hade everything but the hearts and all they cost was about $2!

To assemble is quite easy! I just hot glued each heart to a Styrofoam cone in any order of color or design! it took a whole bag and half, one because I had more pink and white hearts then anything else, but it only took about 30 minutes! Jordan thought it was pretty cook and he ate the extra hearts! I just thought it was super cute!

The picture frame is just some subway art I found on another blog and then the little card is Jordan's v-day card from last year and then the heart shaped book is a very adorable crafty scrapbook that my sister made for me a few years ago when Jordan and I were first dating! Funny story, she had it and was working on it when we first were engaged and she took the pictures in it and everything, and when Jordan and I split up for a bit she didn't give it to me or keep working on it cause she didn't want it to make me more sad, but anyways a few months after Jordan and I got married in febuary of last year, she gave it to me with it all finished! Funny story! She put so much effort into it, we had to stay together!!! But I love my sister and all of her amazingness! She is soooo talented and Im so glad to have her around to be able to keep our memories around forever with her talent! Love you big sis!

Tangy Pork Roast

Oh My, You will LOVE this recipe! I have made it Three times at our house in the last few months becuase it is that good! Jordan loves it and between the two of us, you'll be lucky if there are any leftovers!!! Love it! So I decided to share it with you all! It's from a recipe book I barrowed from my mom, from Deseret Book called Slow-Cooker Cookbook from Mormon Pantry. If you don't have it, go and get it! OMG YUM! I've made about four recipes so far in it and have LOVED everyone and there are so easy and so few ingredients! Today is your lucky day if you don't have it though, cause well, I'm gonna share one with you!!!

Tangy Pork Roast

2 onions, sliced
3-4lb boneless pork roast
1 C. water
1/4 C. apple cider vinegar
3 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
2 Tbsp. soy sauce
1/2 C. brown sugar
1/4 C. ketchup
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
Tabasco Sauce

Place sliced onions in slow-cooker; place roast on onions. Mix remaining ingredients, using tabasco sauce to tast, and pour over roast. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Cook on high 3-4 hrs or low 7-8 hrs.

I serve mine over rice and beans, it would be good like with pineapple and green pepper with just plain rice, it would be good with noodles, or on a sandwich, or in taco's or burrito's, omg it's just so good! Please try it and tell me what you think!!!

Cute V-Day Banner

Last weekend I finished my first banner that I created myself! I went to Porters and found some cute springy like valentines paper and tags and came up with a fun idea! I went down to Jordan's mom's for a girls craft night and started it, but was watching my little nephew so I didn't get to far, but the I had the next day off and decided to clear off the kitchen table and put all my crafting stuff out and got on the roll! I finished it the next day so it took a good three days, but I did finish it and I am SOO happy with how cute it is! It's not super pink and red for valentines day, which is nice because i'm working on some cute fabric balls that are going to go in my apocraphy jars that are the same colors so I can keep most of it up for spring!!! I love pastel colors and you'll learn to notice that! :-)

Here are a few pictures a took the other day! They aren't that great to show it's justice but it is super cute and I am pretty dang proud of myself and all my creativity! I have another craft that i'm working on tonight, it's a conversation heart cone thingy, it will make sense when I post the pictures, but it will go great with some of my other valentines day decor!!!

2011...What will it bring?

It's been a few months since i've posted anything....
I've become horrible at taking pictures....
I've become lazy at posting about our happenings......
But, I'm back, and ready to make it better agian!!!

I hate being one of those women who look at EVERYONE'S blogs and just day dream. The thing is I am so capable of doing ALL of the thing I see on all of these amazing women's blogs, I just don't give myself enough credit, and well enough time. I'm horrible with time, especaialy time for myself. I don't know what it really is, and last week or so, it dawned on me...."I need time to do the things I love, and well, I have the time, I'm just not giving myself the time." It's really no ones fault but my own. Yes I work, and I have a house to clean and animals to feed and a husband to love and take care of, but I also have myself. I can't just leave all my needs on the wayside, waiting....Thats just not right, right???

Well, no matter what anyone else thinks, it's time for me to take care and do things for myself. So everyday, I am giving myself, 30 minutes to an hour. I am going to either, take a nap, read a book or a magazine, workout, do a craft, learn something new, organize things, plan things, give myself a facial, or pedicure, or manicure, or shower and get dressed up!!! No matter what it is, I need that an hour a day. As well, with this time everyday, I am going to make sure I start blogging more. Journal more to all of you and to myself how life is. I feel like I am an open book, but honestly, im quite closed. It's time to put everything out there (ok not everything, but most things) The more support all around the better I am!!!

I've made a lot of resolutions this year, and of course a lot of them dwindled very quickly, but I'm not giving up hope. A big reason for all of this change is because tonight, I went and worked out with a dear friend, and was able to just talk and get all the drama in my life off my chest, other then family or husband, and it felt so good...although I was on an elliptical and just getting over a cold so I could barely breath, but it felt SO good!!! I LOVE working out and I LOVE feeling good about my body and what I do for it and give it as well and I don't know what happened the last little while, but I just forgot to care? So, as for all this time for me, a big change will be making sure I give my body what it needs! Lot's of exercize and healthier choices! I do go yo-yoing all the time, but this time I feel good about things! It's finally time for change!

Well enough of my lifes story tonight, I just wanted to get it all off my chest, but get excited for lots of new things this year! I already have a few fun valentines day crafts to share and even more I have planned for this week! I'm going to get better at taking pictures, which I LOVE, and start posting all our yummy and hopefully semi-healthier recipes. I also will post success stories and pictures of weight loss and fun routines and songs and feelings! It's time to get it all out and especially make this year a great one! I've been making a lot of good changes in my life and hopefully some of these experiences will help others then just myself!

I want to also thank my sweet husband for ALWAYS encouraging me, even though I constantly just ignore his persistence! I know he truly cares for me and wants me to feel good about myself! It's time for me to start listening instead of grudging! He is a very sweet man, and very stubborn too!!! :-) I Love him so much!

It's Beginning to Look A lot Like Christmas!

I LOVE CHRISTMAS! Well, I used to not really do anything, I procratstinated getting gifts and never really did anything crafty, maybe made some christmas cookies...But, Every since I go married in December and our wedding was a "Winter Wonderland" and we have boxes and BOXES of christmas decorations! But of course, there only in Blue, Silver & Lavender....And there is a TON of snowflakes! So this year, of course we went with the same theme, except for a few things we have gotten or i've made here and there! Here's what we have decorated in our place so far! There will be more to come this week so the sooner to christmas i'll show you all a few things we've added!
One great thing about these colors is I can keep them up for a while after christmas!!!!!! I LOVE apocraphy jars! I have a few still that are in some boxe's I haven't unpacked.....like ALL of my frames and wall stuff, so please excuse our bare walls! We've been in our new place for about two months going to three and yes I am HORRIBLE at unpacking and decorating right away! But I WILL have then up be January!!!! I promise! As for this natavity set above, Jordan's mom let me barrow it since she doesn't have anywhere to put it this year, which i'm thankful for because we don't have one! I LOVE IT!
For our anniversary, Jordan and I went and got our 1st christmas tree! It's a about 5ft and it's perfect! We are going to be decorating it, and please ignore the white wired lights! As of today we are taking them off and putting on some green ones and then decorating the tree, so i'll be sure to post pictures of it all decorated too!!!

Here is a craft my mom and sisters did in november! Excuse the NO PICTURE, lol...I haven't printed of our christmas pictures last year yet! lol! But isn't it cute! It's just a shadow box and a clear calander over the outside and we just made a few pages for novemeber and december, and hopefully will be making some fun ones for next year too!
We also couldn't find our stockings this year! I think there still packed in all the Decoration boxes I haven't unpacked it! But Jordan's mom let us barrow these this year too! Cute Cute!
I love christmas! I know I already said that, but I do! Jordan does as well and we are having so much fun having a very festive house! I can't wait to show you some fun ornaments we made on my mom and sisters and I's craft day! I'm gonna post em soon after we get em up on our tree, plus a few fun wreaths i've been working on too! Oh and I can't wait to also share with you our yummy chrismas cookies and candies we'll be making sometime this week too! YUM!

Once There Was A Snowman

This friday, Jordan's Mom had an awesome idea that she found in "blog land" that she wanted all of us girls to come and do! She was so sweet and bought all the wreaths for us and had tons of christmas decorations she was going to give to DI, instead, we used to decorate these cute BIG snowman!
I love that it cover's the WHOLE door and I love how we added a little bird and it's nest!
I used one of my old scarves and then added a bunch of old stars she was going to give and made him a kinda rustic snowman!
While I was taking pictures smokey decided to help make our home look more real by showing he lives there too by posing in picture for me!
Then we played "snow ball" for a while and he was happy!!!

I had so much fun making these snowman and it's going to be so fun to have on our door! We can keep him up even longer after christmas, especially because he can't melt!!!

Oh How I LOVE FALL!!!! I love the Smell. I love the Weather. I love the Feeling. I love the Food. And most of all I love the Decorations!

The Last few days that i've been home sick I've had a lot of time to look at all my favorite crafting blogs! There are SO many CUTE and EASY things to make! I've been filling my notebook and file folders with all these fun ideas, tutorials and pictures of ways to decorate and make my home all festive for halloween!

Jordan and I LOVE HALLOWEEN! It is one of our favoritest holidays! Ok, Maybe its our favorite! I do love christmas though! But there are so many fun things to do in this area and so many fun ways to make your home feel spooky!!!!

I decided to share with you all of the cute idea's that I have found and hopefully get to a few of them for this halloween! I've written down a few that are easy and cheap that im pretty sure i'll be able to get to this month! Cheap is a good thing, one cause we are for sure moving into our new home this week and next and easy because I don't have a lot of time, but WILL make time!

I Love it when I go into someones home that is decorated for the season! It just makes me smile! Well, it also just sparks creativity in my mind and then makes me want to make my home just as cute! I've been dying to do crafts the last few months, one because work is just taking it all out of me and I need something different and two, I've just neglected that talent that I have!

All of these ideas are from SEVERAL Blogs that I have been looking at and I for sure have written ALL of them down so I can give credit to all of these amazingly talented women! I want to share a few of the sites with all of you who check out my blog and want to spark some creativity into your homes!

These cute "BOO" Blocks are made over at Family of Savages She has a few for Thanksgiving and Christmas as well that I LOVE and hope to be able to make! I love block letters! You can do so many different colors and add soo many different embelishments to make them just your own!

I LOVE halloween candy! I'm not sure where I found these cute little topiary's! They are pretty simple to assemple but they look so yummy and so halloween! That's what it's all about right! Dressing up and going to getting all the candy you can possibly get and then get sick! lol I remember several years ago filling my pillowcase and then eating all the candy until i got sick! Then repeating the next day!

This sign is just cute! Something to hang inside or out! Super easy and cheap! Again not sure which site I got it from but I did write it down somewhere and will for sure find it when I do get to making it!

Here is just a cute way to decorate a table! Super easy! Get a few pumpkins, fill a few jars with candy and candles and put out a cute table runner and well..you have a perfect halloween themed table runner!

This....I...LOVE! Over at Sassy Sanctuary she made this ADORABLE Halloween Rag Wreath which I am FOR SURE going to copy! ;-) I love the colors, I love the rag look and I LOVE LOVE LOVE IT! :-) Do you think I like it????? Don't answer that!! She has a lot of other cute crafts and ideas!

This is actually a pictre from Pottery Barn! I love theme! I have a lot of silver things and I always wonder if i'll be able to decorate with them and honestly I don't know why I wonder! Every decorating magazine or site I see has silver everywhere! But then agian I would LOVE to remake this in my own way and my own price of course! Just love the theme!

Now, I found this at A Pumpkin and a Princess Super easy, Super Cheap! All you need is a pot and saucer, glass vase, small wood knob, black spray paint, hot glue, candy and ribbon! You can do it in any theme you want! I'm going to so one for halloween and christmas, and probably easter and valentines day! lol! You can buy most of the stuff from the dollar store! Super cute!!

I LOVE these banners! They are so versitle. You can do any color. You can put letters, or pictures or nothing! You can add embelishments ribbons, oh my SOO much! Super easy, and of course scrapbooky, which I lOVE! I will be making a halloween one! I have a fall one I made last year and most likely will be making a christmas one as well! YAY! I found these at Crafty Sisters They have A LOT of cute ideas as well!

Ok so you think you have to spend and arm and a leg for apocraphy jars right? I have! I want several and only have a few! They are so necesary when decorating a home! Well, now you can make some from the dollar store! They are all over blogs, everyone is teaching how to make them! All you need is a candle holder and then a vase and then you hot glue them together and bam...You have a homemade $2-3 apocraphy jar! Fill and decorate!

Well, Now that i've overwhelmed myself with SO many fabolous ideas, which i'm also sure i'll find more and soon be seeing Thanksgiving and Christmas EVERYWHERE as well, I still WILL get a few of these cute and simple ideas done and have our new little house decorated before Halloween falls upon us!

This week Jordan's sister Melissa and Husband Aaron are coming for a week with there three kids Avery, Hayden and Landon from St. Louis, MS! They've been having some car trouble, but later rather then sooner they should arrive and we have tons of fun things planned to do with them! We also are taking family photo's this week and so i'm sure we'll be putting them up soon as well!

Here is a picture of our family from 2008! This was taken before Jordan and I even got married! Good thing we stayed together right! lol! Anyways I love Jordan's family and I can't wait to spend time with them this week!

Then next week we will be in our new home! I'll be spending time decorating and organzing and making it our new home! We will be out with our horses and dogs, so they will love us being out there with them! We will have more time to spend with them and give them all the attention they need! Also Jordan and I will be able to be a couple agian and be on our own, which we are very ready for! We are SO THANKFUL for my parents and all that they have done for us while we have been living with them! I will miss seeing them EVERYDAY, but we are just moving 5 min away!

Reason's Why I Love My Husband

The last few months have been pretty interesting for Jordan and I! We moved out of our apartment in May and moved in with my parents to save money and becuase we didn't like where we were living and we found someone to take over our lease. We thought that this little move would only last till around the end of July, figuring we would find a place and move, but, as things happen in this life, we didn't and we are still with my parents. Good new's!!!! We are most likely moving into the house out at the property in the next few weeks so not for long we will be somewhere new and just ours! :-)

As I was sitting here doing my normal everyday computer routine, I was looking at pictures of my husband and I and realized HOW much I LOVE HIM! So Im gonna share with all of you why! :-)
Jordan and I have a super long History! We dated off and on agian, engaged twice and finally through ALOT of ups and downs realized, all of these things we went through just made us so much stronger as a couple and made us each realize, we just couldn't be happier with anyone else. One thing that Jordan is annoyed with my be is I LOVE TAKING PICTURES! Everywhere we go we take pictures, so thats why at our reception we had TONS of them of our few years together! But, One reason I love him, is he still lets me take them and he even cooperates when I want him in one!
When I first met Jordan I thought he was a little "special" lol Just kidding! But Really....my roomates thought he was a little weird and I just thought he was hillarious! Sure there are times I do just roll my eyes at him when he's being a goof, but without the sense of humor he has, I wouldn't love him the same! He can make the weirdest face's the awesomest sound effects and anyone that knows him just knows he is a goof ball and on days when im down he really makes me laugh! :-)
Most guys, pretend they aren't emotional, show off this "I'm Tough" ego and to us girls, well we all know its a show. One thing about Jordan is that he does put on the show, but then with me, he know's he doesn't have too. He know's I like emotions! Heck I'M A GIRL! So he can be a great romantic and make any mood into a better mood. He know's how to just sit and talk to hours with me, and I LOVE to talk! He is by FAR a WAY better listener then me and so he does WHATEVER he can to make me feel better or try to fix things when I talk to him. I LOVE that about him!
Well, He's just HOT! The first thing that attracted him to me were his looks of course! We met a Bombfire of one of our mutual friends and I was with my group of friend and he with his and well, I saw him from across the fire and told my girlfriends he was pretty attractive, and my braver friend went over to them and we talked and well, the rest is history....Except for the fact that he thought I was blonde! But, on to his handsomeness...he just his HOT! I told him a after a few of our dates that I LOVED his arms, and obvoiusly still do! So whenever I say that he flex's em like any guy would do and man...I just melt!!! But THE one time I really thought he was handsome/hot/sexy....was when we went to a ball he had for National Gaurd and he was all dressed up in his suit....yeah...that's when he stole my heart! So back of girls...this one's mine! :-)
A few months ago, Jordan was in ROTC up on the BYU-I Campus and he made a bunch of awesome friends....I was weary at first, cause you know how some single girls can be up there! lol, but these girls and gent's turned out to be some very awesome people! He Loved hanging out with them and telling them all his war stories, and of course talking about guns NON STOP! Another thing I love about him..his stories! Anyways....They held a PROM for all of them and it was super cute and super fun. Of course we we're the only MARRIED couple and that's what we were known as, but..I liked it! One thing that really hit me that night was HOW MUCH FUN he is. We danced the night away and were so silly and so in love. That night he was a goof as usual, but a gentlemen at that! I love that we can be total dorks together and not worry about what anyone around thinks!

So I don't want to bore you all or brag in a super long post, cause I totally could, but I love this man! He is my other half. Yes of course every couple has there days, but in the end, I would never want to be with anyone else but him! He makes me smile, laugh, and sigh! He makes me want to be a better person. He makes me do things I don't want to do and after I do them, I love him even more. He drives me crazy, both in a good and bad way, but in the end, it's always good! We've been together for over 3 years, married for almost 10 months, and together for ETERNITY! I LOVE YOU Jordan Roy Landon, Forever and Ever!

I still have been planning meals during these last crazy weeks, if I didn't then I don't know how we would have gotten through them! As things are slowing down, I have more time to make some really yummy meals! Too Long...

I was browsing through my regular blogs that I read everyday and realized, wow, its been almost three months since i've written on our blog. To me, I thought, "Wow, we just must not be that interesting." But, then I thought "No, we've just been so dang busy, I haven't had chance to even blog about anything we've done!" So, this is an apology, mostly to family, and to myself, for neglecting something I LOVE to do.

I've been not myself for the last few months, one with moving out of our apartment, into my parent's basement, to my mom getting her knee surgery and becoming fulltime cook, cleaner "mom" at home, to also working more hours and crazy schedule at work. Also many other things, but many of them have kept me from being me. I still have been cooking and reading, but I haven't been able to really cook and share, or read and take it in, and also haven't been able to workout out! That's my biggest thing! But, summer is here! YAY! So things are really starting to look up!

My mom's surgery went really well, she's been home for about 3 weeks now and she is doing therapy and recovering really well. It's been fun being "mom", but it's been long days as well. It's a lot differen't when your just cooking for two, or cleaning up for two in a tiny apartment, then cooking for four, cleaning a two story house, and laundry is twice as much too! I'm so thankful for Jordan and I to be able to have a place to live while we have been searching for somewhere to live, and even more thankful it was the right time to be here to help my mom, and even dad out. It's amazing to see, just how little you can do that can lighten someone's load! I hope that my mom will heal quick, and soon she can walk on her own so she can go out and enjoy this beautiful weather that has been blessed our way!

Among all the other things going on, Jordan is still in school, only a few weeks left and he's done till January, so he is in the process of finding a fulltime job for the fall, and I am in the process of trying to get back into school, and working still! We have had a fun few months. We had a few trips we went on and a few fun activities with friends! I lost the charger to my camera, and my other camera has been out of batteries, so I haven't gotten many pictures, but I will for sure be posting more soon!

We have been in the process of finding a place to live here, mostly a place that we can have our two dogs "Smokey" & "Enzo" with us and a few day's ago we came across the perfect place. We we're debating moving out to the property where the horses are, but we don't have an exact date when it will be available, some where between august and december, and we need a place in the next month. So one of my mom's physical therapists is moving to colorado, and she owns a small two bedroom, one bath house with an unfinished basement on two acres with a storage garage. She said she loves animals and wouldn't mind having dogs so of course Jordan and I jumped on the chance to take a look and we did and we are pretty certian that's where we will be moving here in the next few weeks. It's an older house, but it's been remodled in certian parts, but it's nice and quite and a cute little country house for us to be in where we can have our dogs and be for at least a year maybe longer. She was selling the house and may put it back up in a year, and if Jordan and I like the place we may or may not get it and do all the changes we want, if not we'll just find another place, but for a year we will be permanent and I am so ready for that! ;-)

I promise now I will be posting more, it may not be everyday, but it's summer and there's so many things to do and cook! So i'll post a few things that i've been working on these past months and start afresh as well! When we move and all that fun stuff i'll post pictures and have everyone updated on our growing life!

Fabric Headbands "New Hobby"

For my best friends birthday, Jordan and I went to Utah to go camping with them for Memorial Weekend. We didn't end up taking pictures, but it was a blast seeing them, and Jordan and I having our first official married camping trip! For Courtney's birthday I made her these three headbands! I have been working on the fabric flower's for a while, constantly tearing fabric and rolling into flowers, and finally perfected them. I took some time to go out and get some cute accent's to put on them and then finished them up! Before I left for utah I took a few pictures of them and she LOVED them!

I decided that on the side i'm going to start making them and selling them for around $7-$15 dollars. They may range lower for less of fabric or design, but I thought this would be a fun way for my to make some extra money, or if not just for gifts for friends and family, and even myself! So I may start another blog just for ordering veiwing the flowers, but this is what I have come up with so far and hope to start doing differen't ones and differen't styles for older and younger!

Weekly Menu Planning 4/19-4/23

It's that time again! I'm on a roll, I did a week and now i'm onto the next! I Feel like I'm starting to accomplish many things and it's very exciting! I did stay pretty much exactly on for last week's menu, made an add on for monday (breakfast for dinner) and then ended up not making friday's meal. We decided to go out to dinner Friday night, then I though, oh, I'll just make them on saturday, but we had a VERY fun day going swimming up in Driggs, at Green Canyon Hot Springs, and then took a trip to Idaho Falls, and my sweet hubby took my out to Outback! We got steak and crab, and it was YUMMY!

It felt so much like summer yesterday, and today! You can walk around in a shirt, and I even wore a skirt! It was BEAUTIFUL! I like this time of year here in Idaho!

Well, today we have FHE with Jordan's family, at his mom's house and we are in charge of bring a salad! His mom mentioned bring the Strawberry Spinach salad I made for my Relief Society Dinner and I had a lot of the stuff for it, so I decided why not! So I won't have a new recipe to share with you for that, but it is super yummy and makes it feel like spring and summer as well!

So, this week Jordan starts school again, I get back to a somewhat more normal work week, and we each are starting to workout! Jordan has his workout class each morning at 6am, and I have told myself over and over, "I Am Getting Up and GOING!" So I am three days a week at 6am going to go with him to school, and either work out in the gym, or walk to track or do something on those three days, and then on three other days, going to do my own working out, either here at our gym where we live, or do a dvd that we have or the wii, or just go for a walk to relax! I want to start incorparting more healthy meals as well, so that's going to start probably next week when I can get a new menu and go shopping as well! But, we really do have some yummy healthier recipes this week, loaded with veggies and flavor! So here's what's going to be cooking in our kitchen this week:

Saturday or Sunday: Leftover Carnita's (Taquito's) W/ quacomole & sour cream

Now, as I have told you all before, some times the menu changes or a lot of it goes into the next week because we end up eating leftover's or something comes up, but this is what is in my planner and I am SO excited! ;-)

Rice Pudding & Mexican Tostada's

I promised I would post a few recipes from my weekly menu each week, and as for what we had, I did take a few pictures of some things, but some just were't to my liking but these two babie's where! Jordan liked them just as much as well, which makes these two recipe's for sure go into the tried and true! One thing about these two recipes is that they are super simple, and....super delicious! So I made these tostada's Thursday Night, and let me tell you, there wasn't a speck left of either of our plates! ;-) They go together in a flash, and they are gone in a flash! If you like mexican food, I would recommend making these guys! You can do whatever variations you want. The recipe I made didn't have beef or any meet, just beans, so I just made some taco ground beef, and yummmmm! You can do shredded beef or chicken, or pork or whatever your heart desires! We didn't put any dressing on it, Just some quacamole, sour cream and salsa! So, now your probably dying for me to share the recipe! I found this at Simply Recipes. I used to read this blog a few years back, and went back to it the last few weeks and Have loved some of her ideas, hence why I have about four of her recipes for next week! So go on over and check out her Mexican Tostada's. You will not be dissapointed!!

As for the Rice Pudding! I got this recipe out of one of my mom's new cookbooks Worldwide Ward Cookbooks "Mom's Best Recipes". Its an awesome book, and I have a few other recipes marked for it! I made this at the begining of the week for breakfast, and I had a peice and Jordan ate the rest! So as you can tell, we each enjoyed it! It's a custardy texture, and you can make it with more rice if you don't like it like that, but if you do, you will love just the way I made it! So since I can't give you a link, I will just share this recipe with you all. Just know it's not mine, its from this wonderful book!

Rice Pudding

1 cup cooked rice

3 eggs

3/4 c. sugar (You may want to add just a tad more if you like it sugary)

1/4 tsp. salt

3 c. milk

1 tsp. vanilla

cinnamon (for garnish, but I mixed it in, because we love cinnamon)

1. Preheat oven to 325 degree's

2. Spread rice out in an 8x8 pan.

3. In seperate bowl, beat eggs, sugar, salt, and stir in milk and vanilla.

4. Pour over rice, and sprinkle with cinnamon.

5. Place in larger pan and add water to at least half way up the smaller pan.

6. Bake for 1 1/2 hrs and will be done when sides and middle jiggle easily. Make sure the middle jiggles the same as the reast to make sure it is completely finished.

7. ENJOY!

Weekly Menu Planning

As of this monday, I am officially starting Weekly Meal Planning! I have been doing it since Jordan and I have been married, one to save money, and two to make myself try new recipes, which I love to do. So far I have compiled some good recipes, one of which I just made this morning and will share later today with you all. As for how this weekly Meal planning will work, each sunday or monday I will post the week's recipes I am going to be making and then either post all of them, with what we liked or disliked, or if we just didn't like it, I won't post it so you don't have to tast the not so yummyness we didn't like!

I usually plan two weeks in advance when I shop and plan. So some of the meals might change, just becuase I have everything on hand! But as for this week, this is what we will be eating and I will be cooking up in our kitchen!

Monday: Day Off (Undecided!?!)

Tuesday: Ravioli Bake w/Green Salad adapted from:You Got Served

Wednesday: Kung Pao-Style Shrimp adapted from: You Got Served

Studying, New Baby Nephew, & Yummy Chow Mein

I've started doing daily morning personal scripture study this week, and so far it's going so well! I don't know what really hit me to start? First off I do know that the visiting teaching lesson this month was on personal scripture study, and reading it, and the qoute my Sister Beck really hit me. Second I knew that I needed to start doing something for myself each day, since exercising wasn't working, I just knew that if I could start this, then I could start on the next thing for me which would be exercising. So far, one week down, and i'm getting more and more lifted and motivated each day.

I was going to post yesterday, one just because I felt the spirit SO strong, and I think I wrote like 6 pages in my journal. I have this book called "That Ye May Prosper" and it is basically qoutes and definitions of certian verse's in the Book Of Mormon. I started kinda where I ended last summer (I know, really bad that I haven't been keeping up) and that was in 2 Nephi 4. In verse 4 it talkes about propering in the land and he mentioned in the book that "Real control over anything other than ourselves is impossible. So let us exercise self mastery and the rest should fall into place for us naturally." As I read that It was like BANG....that's exactly what I needed to hear. If I work on myself, focus on me, and not worry about helping others ALL the time or Worring about others ALL the time, things will work out the way they do, especially because I can become a better example to all of these people.

The last thing I want to leave with you that I've been studying is in 2 Nephi 4: 21-22. He say's in this book that "Our lives are what we have to offer those around us. We must chose then, this day, to create a life worthy of emulation - a life filled with abundant benefit for others and an inherent stability for those who we are responsible for." I want my life to emulate the spirit. I want to be able to offere everything that is good. So I want to start giving a little tid bit each week on something that really stuck out to me in my scripture study. So look forward to my little bit of my spirit teaching or helping you along I hope each week. I'll leave this section with you all with a qoute that should get you through this week, hopefully lift you....

Now to my Chow Mein!

As for the weekly scripture study tid bit, I'll post my menu's for the next two weeks as well as 1 recipe a week that I cook! If I do more, thats great for all of you, if not, at least you get one, and if something sounds good that I have on my menu, don't be afriad to ask where I got it from or how it was! I love it when people do that! :-)

I've been on this chinese kick latley. This week I already made sweet & sour pork stir fry, and then chow mein, and in the next few weeks a have quite a few other chinese specialties about to unveil! But, I want to share this, one because its easy, and two because its YUMMY! It makes alot, so luckily Jordan had a few study pals over and they got some too, so prepare to have leftovers if there's just two of you! Unless your husband eats like mine and eats for 4! lol

Here's where I got this yummy recipe: Hostess With The Mostess's Chow Mein

I did a few changes, I added 1 cup celery, and I added meat. Jordan doesn't like chicken so I used pork. I just sauteed the meat before the veggie's. Set aside and added it when I added the cabbage and green pepper. It's super yummy and I hope you all try it! Next time I might do Shrimp, just to give it another kick! :-)

And last but not least, Today, April the 1st of 2010 at 11:45am Cooper "" Wolfe (haven't decided his middle name yet) entered this random snowy spring day! Kristin went in late last night around 2am and didn't have him till 11:45am. She was a trooper man! He is 7.1lbs and 19 inches long. All 5 toes, all 5 fingers, and cute baby boyness that I get to love on! :-)

We are all excited to have a new nephew, grandson, and son here in this little town of rexburg! He will deffinatly be one SPOILED little boy, since two of our neices are in chico, and two neice and nephew here in rexburg are becoming All Grown Up, we have a new baby to spoil! He's gonna bring so much happiness to life in our family, and we are so excited! Here is Grandpa Wolfe holding him!

Here is Aunt Christie, who will most deffinatly be taking MILLIONS of pictures of this little man, and I especially can't wait to see the ones she took today! Hopefully I'll get some soon from her! He's gonna love all the flash's! I think he already got used to them this morning!

Here's me, holding him for the first time! He's so tiny! Makes me want one, but not want to go through the delivery after hearing Kristin! But I know its worth it, and eventually we will have one of our own little bundle of joys.

He's got his momma's lips, a full head of hear, long big feet like the men wolfe's, and long fingers, and he is just as cute as a button!

Here they are, the new little family united. They both did so well, and we are SO happy for them! We are excited to have someone new and something new as well! I'm sure you will be seeing lot's of Cooper from now on here!

Getting that Spirit.....

Not the spirit that you all think. I've deffinatly got that with me everyday! That spirit grows stronger each day, as one thing after another touches me or Jordan and I or family, or just people I happen to hear about...no, i'm talking about a differen't kind.

If you know me, you know I LOVE to read and mostly collect Fitness Magazines. I used to get the cooking ones, but I upgraded to cookbooks, and those are fewer and fewer to come by latley, just cause I don't have $20-$30 bucks to use. But, Magazines, eh, not a problem! lol. But, I just haven't had the drive to read them. I buy them, wanting to get emmersed in all the tips and motivation, but idk, i'm not in the spirit............

So I just sat down for bed, got out one of my new magazines, and read the editor's note and something hit me that just said "You Got That Spirit!" I paused for a sec, looking at the magazine, thinking of all the things to do this weekend and next week, and thought, "What am I doing for MYSELF?" I spend all day making sandwiches, come home make dinner for my husband, clean house, do laundary, watch a movie or show, maybe relax a bit, feed horses, run errands, and I thought...."I have time in each day that I CAN make for just MYSELF." So I paused to think about it agian, what it is that I want for MYSELF, and that is to be healthy, active, sporty, have that SPIRIT that motivates me to do all these things!

This is just an out of ordinary post, nothing much to do with Jordan and I specifically, but more just me, venting, and writing to motivate myself, and for you all to motivate me to get that spirit back. There's NOTHING that is holding me back except for MYSELF, so of course I have to let MYSELF have me back!

So, my alarm is set, 1 hr earlier then I usually do to get up, to have that 1 hr to give myself some time to relax, by doing yoga, and a little workout, whatever it might be......and to give myself time to not be rushed in the morning! I'm gonna take a breather.......and go for it......get the SPIRIT BACK!!!!!

Spring Is HERE!!!!

There is nothing like a warm, eventful, cleaned and decorated home to start of spring! Jordan is away for the weekend at an ROTC lab in Utah......So I had lots of time to get things done! My mom and sister are away as well, so last night my dad and I went out to dinner and ice cream! I love hanging out with my dad and now that I'm married it feels like I get more one on one time with him them before, but i'm not complaining, because I wanted nothing more then to spend more time and get closer to him as well! After a fun night, I started off this lovely Saturday with going to the livestock center with my friend Heidi and my four horses! We have gone a couple saturdays, but now as it's getting warmer, its easier to go, and I feel that I'm getting more time as well! The horses were very well behaved and it was a nice relaxing riding day!

After I took the horses home I picked up some cleaning supplies and headed home to do some DEEP cleaning and Laundary! After three hours, there is no spots in our apartment! I dusted, sweeped, mopped and even scrubbed some spots! Everything smells SOO good and there is nothing better then a clean home! It just makes you happy! :-)

After a couple hours of cleaning, I cleaned some more...cleaned out my car that is, and took it for a wash! Now it is shiny and looks wonderful! I didn't do a DEEP clean on it, but that will probably come next weekend! I did however stop at Porters before dinner with my Dad and Grandpa and found some spring stuff. Of course, how can you not go into that store and NOT find something you want or need or HAVE TO HAVE! lol. I planned on getting a cute vase and something to go in it for spring and some easter eggs to fill one of my apacrafy gars. I ended up getting two for only $1.99 and some fun flowers and rocks and such! I probably will have to go back and get some more eggs, and I have another craft Idea for next week that will need eggs as well!!!

Here's a picture of how I filled the vases! I got some rocks and these cool gell beads and then put some eggs in too! then just stuck the flowers right in! All of the spring flower bouqets were 30% off so I got two of each kind! I wanted to get gerber daisie's but couldn't find bouqets of em, but I might look next time to put in with the eggs in my apacrafy gar!

Well, this is what the final project looks like, agian I need more eggs, but those will come soon! I love being married and having my own place! I get to decorate it and make it just feel like home and there is nothing better! I can't wait for Jordan to come home too to a nice clean home and a springy feel to it!

Strawberry Spinach Salad

We had our Relief Society Birthday Dinner tonight and it was a lot of fun! I made some new friends and it got me more excited to go to my ward, actually knowing some girls! Now I'll have someone to sit next to in Relief Society!

Our theme was Spring and Fresh and so we had salads and rolls and a "light" & "healthy" deserets. I signed up to bring a salad....(that is not the picture of my salad, but I wanted a picture and I went and found where the picture came from and its the EXACT recipe, so you'll know what it looks like!) Anyways, I was in a hurry and didn't get a picture taken, but this will have to do! But, it was GONE....I don't know but I guess it was pretty dang popular caue there were quite a few salads with lots left in em, but mine was EMPTY! lol. So I thought I'd post real quick the recipe, cause this is PERFECT for spring and summer! Your gonna Love it! I found it on all recipe's, with help from my mom!!!!

Strawberry Spinach Salad

Ingredients:

2 Tbsp. Sesame Seeds

1 Tbsp. Poppy Seeds

1/2 cup White Sugar

1/2 cup Olive Oil

1/4 cup Distilled White Vinegar

1/4 tsp. Paprika

1/4 tsp. Worchestershire

1 Tbsp. Mined Onion

2 Bag Spinach

1 qt. Strawberries (sliced)

1/4 c. Slivered Almonds

Directions:

Combine all first 8 Ingredients to make dressing. Let chill for one hour. Combine Spinach, sliced strawberries, and almonds. Toss all ingredients together and refrigerate for 10-15 minutes before serving! ENJOY!

Lucky Me.....

To have such an amazing Husband to spoil! :-)

This St. Patrick's Day, I had fun being creative and doing some fun things for Jordan. I found some cute ideas on random blogs (I can't remember them all) and decided what the heck, its time to actually start DOING things instead of seeing them and thinking about doing them!

Here's how the day went....When Jordan got out of the shower he found in his shoe's...................Some Leprachaun Loot! I guess one of those little green men came to visit and decided he had to much and wanted to share with my sweet husband! :-)

Then....On his computer was his card. You can't have a holiday without a card! I love recieving them, so I love Giving them as well!!! Plus Jordan just know's he'll get one! I did plan to have this with a "Green" breakfast, but we slept in, and he got a Jamba after his workout class, So next year will be better!

And finally, (I didn't get the Greatest Picture) as a surprise, he had a bag of gold in his backpack to find when he went to class! He even told me he ate em all day during his classes! So, I think I didn't pretty dang good! Next year will be even better!!!!!!! I saw so many cute ideas the night before, but I just couldn't possibly do them all!

We ended the night have famous Cornbeef & Cabbage at my parents with some Ande's Mint Green pie! We had fun and I'm so glad that I was able to spoil my husband and make him some fun stuff to remember!

As for whats happening in our neck of the woods.......We're still kicking....working and school! Jordan has an ROTC lab this weekend in Utah so I'm home alone, but it will be nice cause I get to clean and organize for the next couple weeks to come! Oh, I started a new workout, and (NO MORE COOKIES) at subway and so far I have done FABOULOUS! lol...so if you see me go for a cookie just slap my hand and say "no" they aren't as good as they look...and smell....:-(

I'm gonna be looking and crafting and baking away for easter! So get ready to see some cute crafty decorating home ideas for easter, and some fun for family things I have come up with and also some healtheir/affordable meals!

Life is FULL of Surprises!

Well, This isn't going to be the MOST EXCITING post every, one cause there are no pictures and two, not A LOT has been going on, although I feel A LOT has! This last month, all I can say...I'm glad is almost over! (well from the 14th till next week!) I have gone from working everyday, running errands, feeding horses, making dinners.....if I get the chance, planning and throwing a bridal shower for my best friend Courtney, who is getting married this weekend, helping and going to my sister-in-law's baby shower, cleaning my house, houses being built, church and church things, and the list goes on and on and on...but i'm not going to keep going cause it just keep's exhausting me!!!!

BUT, I do feel bad, cause one, I have been neglecting my poor husband. He works nights and has class almost everyday, and most of the nights that he doesn't work, i'm doing something, so I haven't made him dinner until last night, which seemed rushed, but he LOVED it! So, I decided, for sure next week I am going to plan a WHOLE week worth of yummy homeade dinners!!! So here is what they are and after I make em, I'll let ya know what I think and the Hubby thinks and post the recipe too!!!

So, it's my goal to at least make all of them, they don't have to be on the same day's I have them, but something like that!

Some other cool things that happened this week that both Jordan and I want to thank our Heavenly Father for is how we have been blessed by paying our tithing! It's hard for me, especially when we are SO TIGHT on money, to see such big chunks of money go, when I know we could use it for food, or gas or something, but somehow, we are making it by and I know its because of the faith that we have that by doing what the Lord has commanded us to do, we will be blessed. I know it doesn't happen immedietly, and we have been struggling these last few months, but finally we are seeing light at the end of this tunnel and soon things will be a little bit better for us! I had a scare this week, I worked 50 plus hours and we got payed and my check was only 180 dollars...I said, this isn't right??? I only had 28 hours on it and that just didn't seem right....we had rent to pay, bills going through this week and I was just like " we aren't going to make it, what did we do wrong?" but I looked back on my calander counted my hours, counted the hours on the calander at work and I had over 50 hours....So my manager and co-worker Tracy was like "call her and tell her something is wrong" so I did and she came in today with my check with the right hours and everything....I went "Phew!!!!" I talked to our managers of our apartment and they gave us till friday with no late charges and I went agian "Phew!!!" We made all of our bills and things are back to good with a couple hundred dollars extra for our trip to utah this weekend! another double "phew!!" But the biggest blessing that came this week was one, a wedding card from a family I knew in California for $75, out of now where and...Jordan's unit in Boise calling and saying he had 6 day's unpaid leave that he is supposed to be payed for!!!! Thats $1200 buck when we could use it SOO much!

I Just want to thank our Heavenly Father SOOO much for all that he has blessed us with, and each day we are, it brings us closer together, and closer to the Lord. It gives us another shiny glimpse of hope, more light in that tunnel, and more faith to keep living and doing the commandments we have been given. There is no DOUBT in my mind that this church is SO true and that if we didn't have it, Jordan and I would not be anywhere as close as we are right now! Thank you Thank you!!!!

Well, I will for sure be posting pictures of the shower's and the wedding trip to utah this weekend, which I am so excited to be able to go the the SLC Temple for the FIRST time, and to be and see my BESTEST friend get married! I Look forward to posting more and time to finally stop going by so fast!!!

Valentines Day

For valentines we had Jordan's family over for our monthly FHE. It was our turn host. We fixed dinner, and gave a lesson on the 2nd Article of Faith. The night before I was trying to think of something fun to give as a valentine, so I made these cute little tags with some nuts! My sister had the perfect paper, and he just posted about the paper she used in a layout as well that I want!!! :-)

Our day was long, but it was full of fun! We went to my brother's for breakfast! Then we had a stake meeting with the Apostle Quentin L. Cook and President Clark of BYU-I! It was on being spiritually prepared as a family, and really focusing on having the gospel in our homes, even when we don't have children in our homes, such as FHE, family prayer, scripture study, etc.... So that we are prepared and have a routine once children to enter. It was great!

Before Church, Jordan come ang gave me a single long stem rose, and I was surpised, one because we didn't have any money and I had no idea where he would have kept it! I also got a little basket with some Mary Kay products and some candy!

Saturday night I made Jordan this card along with the tags for his family! He loved it and its something that I just can do naturally!

I made some yummy Pioneer Woman Lasagna and then some even yummier Parmesan Knots from Get Off Your Butt and Bake! We had fun, and Jordan gave a great lesson!

Everyday's A Start To Something Beautiful!

It is a Bright, Sunny, Slightly Warm, BEAUTIFUL Sunday Morning! I drove out to feed our horses, and I love the morning in winter where the sun is shinning and the tree's are still ice'd over and sparkly! Oh, its just beautiful! Mostly what gave me the idea for my Winter Wonderland wedding! Speaking of wedding, I totally spaced in sharing with all of you that Our wedding was featured in the Standard Journal's Wedding magazine "I Thee Wed"! It came out last week! I thought I'd share some pictures of it, just in case you don't get to see a copy of one!

One Corrections.......My name is spelled EmilEE not EmiElEE lol! But it's ok! I'll forgive them! At least it wasn't with a Y! The article is a two page spread and this is the first!

Other new's of the week......Jordan's doing better! Not 100% but almost! He's been going to work and school, but he's still in some pain! He might have to go get it looked at if it still is bad tomorrow! As far as me, I've been working working working! On my day off this week we re-organized our living room and then friday night starting decorating! It will be done soon hopefully! Little at a time! Then we have to tackle or den thats full of boxes! Oh Joy! ;-)

Anyways, the reason I put the Dear John up is because I went and saw it last night with my parents and sister-in-law Kristen! Ok, Jordan is in the National Gaurd, so, of course, EVERYTHING made me cry! I came out of that theater looking like I balled for like 2 day's straight, and it was just like 1 hr! But I loved it! It was cute, but at the same time kinda depressing! But I love Nicholas Sparks, so you can't go wrong!

After the show, Jordan was doing Security on campus for the Center Stage Event, The Peking Acrobats! I got there after intermission, but it was AMAZING! Jordan and I got in free (perks of him being a security guy) and it was Awesome! We can't take pictures, but I found some today on the web!

The did this performance when I saw them and they all actually lifted there legs up and stayed up for like a minute! It was so amazing! These Acrobats are seriously TALENTED and FLEXIBLE! During the show Jordan would lean down and ask me if "I can do that"..lol hahahah..."NO!" I would seriously break everything in my body! lol

It was awesome to end the night with this! I haven't gone to a show on campus for some time and it was great! We saw lots of people from our ward, friends from old wards and home, and even family! Jordan's sister Lauri and her Husband Ron and three of there kids where there! Whitney is going to school up on campus too so she was there! It was fun to see all them!

Well, Its sunday, and time for me to get ready for church! I love our ward and don't ever want to miss a day of it! We are having superbowl tonight too, both my parents and Jordan parents are doing something so we might have to juggle both places! My parents are leaving for california for almost two weeks so I wanna seem em before we go, and we haven't hung out with his fam for a little while, but next week for sure we'll spend with them cause we are in charge of family FHE on next sunday! Waahoo!!!

Peanut Butter Cookies & Valentines Decorations

I had the chance to have the day off today, and it was VERY Worthwhile! I started the day by taking our sick barn kitty, Jimba to the vet cause he's been having a really bad cold! After tests and shots, he's doing good, we have to give him anibiotics and some eye drops but they said in a day or two he should be great!

I afterwards I had my mom and sister come over for a little bit to see our new place and to help me figure out how the heck to make my apartment look more like a home and more welcome! My sister brought me this way way cute little Valentines garlend to put on my counter to add to my very little valentine decorations. I had a Teddy Bear, and a pillow! lol! Then my mom gave me a way cute candle, heart shaped bowl, and napkins! So now I have some way cute decorations!

Well, the final project finished! I loved em, Hubby loved em = happy night! We ended out night watching Tomb Raider and ate some yummy roast, mashed potatoes and honey carrots! It was great! We went and gave Jimba his medicine and fed the horses, then went to a new Frozen Yogurt place in town called Twizl Berry! It was yummy! Deffinatly will be going there more often! YuM!

Well, we are finishing some organizing of stuff, cleaning, and getting ready for another new day of work and school tomorrow! We don't have a too exciting weekend planned, mostly all just work! Might go see a movie with my parents but Jordan works the weekend so I just get to hang out with him Friday night so we'll probably hang out just the two of us! Nothing Better! ;-)

A nEw MoNtH!

I have a little time before work today and I wanted to just give a quick update and note for this brand new month! I'm excited for it! We made it through January! We survived one of the toughest months, but I think febuary is going to be A LOT tighter, but I have so much faith that we will make it through this tough time! I wanted to say goodbye to January by thanking EvErYoNe that helped us this last month. Jordan's family for all the food, support, and always there for us! Especially taking care of his dogs! We hope to be able to someday soon find a place that they can be with us in a nice big backyard or something! I want to thank all mine and Jordans friends that have helped to go out to eat, or to a movie or just to hang out with us and have "free" date nights! We love hanging out with our friends and hope to soo much more, and soon we will be having everyone over to our house, feeding you and repaying you for all that you've done.

Last but not least, My parents have been SOOO amazing that I don't know what I would do without them! From food, groceries, gas, anything and everything, they have been there for us. I know that time is tough on them as well, cause this economy is having a tough time, and my parents lighting store wasn't doing the greatest, they really did a great service to us and helped us this month! I am so thankful for them, and hope to repay them soon! Jordan and I have been able to make it through our first month living on our own and starting this journey! It's fun and, something someone told me the other day when they asked how I liked being married, was I told them it was great but we're poor! lol and he said, "as long as your happy, money doesn't matter, it's being happy that will make you through it!" And that is what is getting me through! Jordan and I are very happy and enjoying every second we have together! We can't wait for things to happen and our lives to grow together!

I just wanted you all to know that we love you all and know for a fact that when you are close to heavenly father, praying day and night, paying a full tithe and being honest and true, things will work out the way that they should for you! I am so blessed and pray that the Lord will be with all of you and that you all may be blessed as well with any troubles you may be having at this time! Look forward to this new month with joy and gladness, and nothing but great posibilities will arise!

OcToPuS's & MeAtBaLls

First off, I lOvE these little girls! Sydnee and Maycee Lou (aka Lou Lou)! They are so cute, so funny, and I just LoVe em! :-)

I had the chance last night to watch the four Bell kids which I haven't done since my wedding! Wow almost two months! YiKeS! Anyways, I didn't get any pictures of the older boys, they were busy playing on there ipod's! But, the girls and I had FuN! When I got there it took em about an hour to calm down, and there mom said they have asked for me EvErYdAy since I haven't been there and boy was she right. Sydnee..Just turned 6! She was kissing me and telling me she LoVeD me about every ten minutes, and little LoU lOu was hugging on me and couldn't stop showing me all her little horses! ;-) We made some really cute princess crown's which I didn't end up getting a picture off, but I did of our aDvEnTuReS making Octopus's for DiNnEr! YuM!

We cut up hot dogs, and stuck about 4 or 5 spaghetti noodles in the middle and put em in some boiling water and waiting while they cooked! We decided once they were done, lou lou wanted ketchup eyes and sydnee wanted cottage cheese eyes! :-)

Well, It was so fun, after we ate we watched Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs! I hadn't seen it yet but it was way cute and they loved it! They all didn't go to sleep till around 11 right before there mom got home from her girls night! It was so fun to see them and make fun stuff! I hope to get to see them soon too!

Jordan and I's weekend was great all in all! We went to the movies with his friend Noah and his wife Sarah who's expecting in August! We had a blast and went out for dessert afterwards! It was nice to actually go out instead of staying in all weekend!

Well, it was sure good that we did, cause saturday morning Jordan had a lab for one of his ROTC classes and on the way slide on some ice and sprained his ankle really bad (We hope just sprained) So he came home an hour later limping into bed and moaning! So I was a good wife and fed him and took as much good care of him as I could until I went to watch the kids! This morning he is still hurting and keeps taking some tyenol and hopes to get better. A bummer is, he probably won't be able to work and....he won't be able to go to some of his classes cause well, they are workout classes! So we're going to have some of his family that are paramedics come check him out and see what they think! I keep praying that is won't get worse and that it will get better, cause well, we need the money!!!! But I'll take the best care of him that I can while he's down! Thats why I have some yummy Money Bread waiting for him when he gets up, cookin' in the oven as I type!

ThE LaSt WeEk Or So...

So I haven't been the best at leaving posts the last few weeks, and I look at everyones under the sun, just never take the time to share all of our exciting news! One reason is because I never have anything super duper exciting to tell everyone, and I write most of it in my journal everynight! lol But, I promised myself I was going to be better! Also, Its one of my 2010 (what I'm going to do and become better at) list! So, here's just some news for this last week since my last post!
Monday: Work! Subway was great, can't stop eating those addicting cookies!!! UrG!!! Jordan didn't have school! (He loves it ;-0 lol) Mom helped with dinner day #1 YuM!
Tuesday: DAY OFF! Jordan and I spent the day getting my social security changed and went to lunch with his mom at Micks! We had the best rootbeer/vanilla drink eVeR! It tasted like a rootbeer float, without the ice cream! YuMo!
Wednesday: Work again! Getting the hang of making them cookies! ;-) Jordan school! YaY!
Thursday: Shipment at work, which means early and sweaty and hot and yay fun! ;-) I do enjoy it cause its a workout all at the sametime! ;-) Although, this last thursday I didn't feel so hot! Taking vitamins and only eating a slice of toast for breakfast, not a good idea! Wouldn't recommened it to AnYoNe! Oh, we did go to the temple, just Jordan and I! I was going to post all about that but, I didn't! It was a very good visit and we both want to go there lots lots more!
Friday: Work, like usual, then let's see, we had our ward social! We met some cool couples, and had brownie sundae's and played pictionary! (Can't spell??) Anyways, it was fun! and then Jordan and I cuddles on the couch and watched a movie!
Saturday: Let's see, Jordan slept in cause he had to work that night, I went with my friend Heidi to go play with horses, which only lasted for about 30 minutes cause well, let's just say that trailer was frozen solid and the truck couldn't pull it out on ice, so yeah fun! Chain's work though! Would recommend them! ;-) Then I just hung out at home, relaxed while Jordan worked!
Sunday: Church! It was great! We had a lesson in Relief Society about nutering our husbands and being better at doing things for them that they like not that we necesarly like! It was great and I love the girls that teach! I can't miss it as well, I just would feel like something is missing! Then my brother and sister-in-law Kristen made Chicken Parmesan! YUM! We had leftovers too! Then I hung out with my dad while Jordan went to work, we fed the horses, and then watched football and had rootbeer floats! YUM!
Then Monday: I worked, Jordan had class, we each were home and had leftovers and watched tv together! I cleaned and felt SOO good afterwards! I love a clean house! Then He got another part time job for an electrition he knows that is working on the new jimmy johns and bambino's here in rexburg! So sweet! Extra blessings there! Know we will be able to pay some more bills on time and for sure make this months rent! YAY!

Finally TODAY!: Well, so far its been one of those days, We each slept good, Jordan left for work at 8 and I went and fed the horsies. Then came home got ready for work! Work was really slow till about 11:30 and then a crazy rush came in and it was just my co-worker and I. Then at 12:00 we had two more people show up and then the owner. It was going really good and the manager asked me to start some bread which I did, and the owner came up and was like "no" help the line of customers, so I go out there and the manager says "why are you not making bread" and I tell her that the owner told me to help the customers, BUT, they had it totally undercontrol! uuurrrggg So I stood there doing basically nothing and the bread needed to be done....Then, as I was making sandwiches, theres a certain amount of veggies that we put on a 6" or a foot long and you know how people are in line like crazy and you are trying to wip those sandwiches out, how can you count out 6 olives??? and then when people want extra what do you say? no you can only have 6? You have to pay for the extra? idk? But thats when the owner told me I was putting TOO many on and I needed to stop, and yay its not a good day, i'm on the verge of tears and so I just do what she tells me and then guess what, the next person asked for a butt load of olives, so I just tell her politely that she can only have extra if she pays for the extra...she was sweet and said ya not a problem! urrrggg...So I have mastered after this terrific day counting olives and banana peppers! It's just one of those days! lol
But I got to leave early, which was nice cause I just didn't want to work anymore....although I needed the money! Well, I went to my dad's business to hang out there and eat my sandwich, and Jordan's mom was there and my sister-in-law, gary's wife Ashley and there little boy Mason! So they wanted to go eat subway so we went back and it was fun to hang out with them. Then my dad and I fed horses, and he is going to get us some groceries tomorrow! I love my family! They are there for us ALWAYS! It feels like there's not a day that goes by that we don't have someone in our family offering something! And as I was writting this, Jordan's mom calls and offers to have us come up and eat some pizza! So Jordan is taking a test and then we are heading up there to eat pizza, paint and hang some light fixtures!

So our lives are great! Tomorrow I have the day off and Jordan has school and work and MaN NiGhT! woohoo! My mom and sister come home from CHA(Scrapbook Convention) and for some reason tomorrow life will just be more normal and less crazy! MaYbE!??

Things we are challenged by....

These last few weeks have been quite a thrill. I have mixed emotions, happy, sad, angry, excited, anxious, overwelmed, thrilled, and the list can go on and on. But, I just wanted to let everyone know, as well as writing it for myself, that this life is such a fun ride if you take a step back and really look at all the good that it has. Yes, there are many MANY challenges, and no matter what, we can't get just slip past them, but there is one lesson I learned going through all I have these past few years that the challenges are good. These challenges make us STRONGER! I heard a talk once, I think it was at Education Week at BYU that a speaker asked for challenges and trails. He wanted them so his faith could grow stronger, so he could learn more lessons. For some reason, that speakers words have stayed in my momery everytime I'm faced with a new challenge.

Now, before Jordan and I got married, all anyone said was married life is great, but its hard! I didn't believe the hard stuff! I didnt understand, well if its great, how can it be hard? Doesn't it have to be one or the other? Well, I do understand now what they mean. It is great, and I am loving every minute of it so far and I do know that it is going to just keep getting better and better as we grow together and face all of the challenges before us. And, now I understand what they all ment by its going to be hard. One is facing the fact that you don't have a lot of time together, you are working all the time to survive (pay rent, school, bills, gas, and food!), and that you are only working enough just to pay the bills and you have to figure out every penny you spend and every penny you save. It's hard, and this weekend it hit me how hard it is going to be. And that is why this weekend I have had a lot of time to pray and get really close to the savior and find out what it is that we and I need to do, to get through this hard challenging time for the two of us. I feel a comfort, and I don't feel afraid, and I know that is the Lord. I know that he knows we can get through this, or he wouldn't have put this challenge in front of us. I know there is something that we both have to learn from this, and no matter what we will. I feel as if its a lesson for me to not go to long without him by myside. Just a couple days, not saying a prayer, not reading your scriptures, or just remember he is there, can make him give you a challenge I believe. And its a good, not that I am complaining, it is just the next lesson on this long journey of lessons I am going to be learning! Life is fun. Life is hard. Life is one of the greatest gifts to ALL mankind. I should remember that, we should all remember that. The lord does NOT give us challenges that we CANNOT overcome, and this challenge I WILL overcome. It is a challenge I will come out STRONG in and together Jordan and I will grow closer as well as grow closer to the Lord as we keep him close to our hearts, and in our lives daily. May you all keep your hearts close to the lord daily, this I pray!

Our First Married Christmas & New Years

So, like most people I know as well, we are a bit belated on putting up our christmas pictures and new years stuff up! But, With me starting my new job this week, and moving, and then Jordan starting school, and his new job, I think we have a pretty good excuse. I figured I better get it done TODAY or we might never get them up! My sister took our christmas new years pictures for us we could have some to scrapbook! She is so awesome! So these are them!

We got some great stuff for christmas. We ended up just spending it with my family, since Thanksgiving was with Jordans! We had tons of Wedding presents so there wasn't a lot we needed but we got A vaccum and a hand made quilt from Jordans parents, and then from my parents we got sleeping bags (that connect) and really nice camping chairs! I got suprised and got a new laptop since my old one just quit on me so it was a very nice christmas! We just relaxed and played games both nights and laughed to the point of headaches!!

For New Years my parents threw a party for al the workers of Wolfe Lighting so we hung out there for the night and it was a ton of fun! Best New Years we both have had for a while! We ate some very yumy food, (My dad smoked tri tip) baked beans, yummy appetizers, and custard with dutch oven cobbler! YUM!

We played TONS of games, and we still are talking from this super fun night we had! We all got our own individual martineli's and watched the ball drop! It was fun spending time with al of our family and close friends and co-workers! couldn't have asked for a better end to 2009 and beginning to 2010!

Jordan and I pretending we got a little crazy! Trust me, there was NO alcohol!!!!!

Now we all have New Years resolutions and I could go on forever and tell them all to ya! But I'm going to do it a litle different and tell them all to you the end of the year when I have reached ALL of them! So far we are both doing really good, and we keep coming up with new ones everyday! But, so far 2010 has been a GREAT year and there is so much we both are looking forward too! We are so blessed and we are so glad to have the church and the gospel in our lives, and we both strive to live as close to the Lord each day as we can! I pray that all of you are enjoying your new year and that is brings more happiness and better health and all the things you hope for!

New Things....

So, life has been crazy since we have been back from california. I have been going around everywhere looking for a job, Jordan has been finalizing his school and trying to get a security job on campus, and we have been dog sitting for my brother and for his brother over christmas! So for a week we were on animal control! It was busy, but now we are back to just feeding and taking care of the horses! Christmas was a lot of fun, and I will blog about that in a few days after we get all our pictures from my sister, for new years too and I'll blog all about those days as well!
I just wanted to put a little update up, one cause its been a week or so since i've posted, and all my job searching payed off today! I went in for an interview at Subway and I GOT IT! I got a day shift which is great cause its not to early and its not to late! 5 days a week and I start monday, which is also great, but it is the same day we move into our new apartment and Jordan starts school the next day!!! YAY! But things will be great and soon life will calm down and I will want it to speed up agian! I just am so thankful for everything that Jordan and I have been given these last few weeks being married. Life has already given us some trails, but we have gotten through them, and family has been so wonderful to have near to us as well! No matter what, being close to the Lord always really does bless you and give you peace. We went to our new ward this last sunday as well, there weren't a lot of people there but we are excited to meet new friends and become part of a ward agian in our new married life together! Jordan and I are especially excited to go to the temple together and as a ward too!
Well, I will post soon our pictures of christmas and ones that we take of our big New Years party tomorrow for Wolfe Lighting! :-) I got to go work on all my new years resolutions! This new year is going to bring so many wonderful blessings! I can't wait for it to get here! :-)

WE ARE MARRIED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We did it! We tied the knot officially on the 5th of december around 10:30am at the Idaho Falls temple!! We had family from all over come, near and far, (my brother Adam surprised us last minute and showed up too!) and it was a amazing day! It was cold, and windy, but no matter what it was the best day of BOTH of our lives! Right after the wedding we took pictures outside the temple! We have a fun video that my Uncle Mike posted on facebook if any of you are our friends on there you can go view it, and see how cold it was!

The reception went perfectly, and it looked AMAZING! I want to thank ALL of you that helped and put in whatever input you did! we will be having pictures up eventually!

We went to Lake Tahoe for our Honeymoon, and believe it, I didn't take one single picture! We mostly stayed in since there was SOO much snow, and it was colder then Idaho!!! But it was so relaxing! We want to go back in the summer time and enjoy some time on the lake. Then after a week there we drove to Chico for our Open House at our home there! It was great seeing all the people I hadn't seen for almost a year! I got too also soo my new neice (well 7 or so months old) Addie, and Kayla whom I hadn't seen for over a year! Overall everything was just amazing. We are happy to be home now! We are getting ready to celebrate Christmas this weekend with Jordan's family and then we will be spending christmas with my family (Parents and Sister's family)! Then on the 4th of January (hopefully sooner) we get to move into our new apartment! WHOO HOO! I will be posting more till then, but here are a few links and pictures for you all to see of what has been happening, and has happened!!! They ARE DONE!!!!!!!!

This week my Mother, Sister, Mother-in-law to be, and myself, finished working out sending out all our invitations! So, all of you should be getting them this next week! We are so excited with how they turned out! I just can't wait to get all our engagement pictures back to start scrapbooking with them and getting them all ready for the wedding! :-)

So, all of those who didn't get one and want one, we don't have very many left, so just so you know all the info we are having a reception in Rexburg at 6:00-8:30 on the 5th and then an Open House in Durham from 2-5! We are so excited! only 35 day's left till Jordan and I are married for Eternity and start our Journey! YAY!

Engagment Pictures!!! Just a Teaser!!

So Saturday we went with our amazing photographer Jaclyn Davis to take our engagment pictures! These on here are just some teaser's that she put up on her blog for us! We still haven't seen all 585 that she took, but as soon as we do we get to pick all our favorites and then start editing and making our announcements! YAY! ;-)

When we we're taking our pictures on saturday, we had to be in Idaho Falls at 8:15am! Well it was around 20 degree's outside, with the wind blowing, omg, it was so freakin' cold! But we LOVED it! We are way excited to continue taking pictures with Jackie! She just has a very happy energy that makes us smile and have fun! We still have Bridals, and Formals then the Wedding to take pictures with her and We are soo excited! One thing about me, I LOVE pictures! ;-) So this is going to great! Let me know what you guys think!

Also, My amazing sister made this amazing scrapbook page of just some pictures that my mom has taken of us! My sister has a blog, Pretty Paper Book She is an amazing scrapbooker! I wish I had her talent and patients as well to do all the amazing things she can do! I can't wait to see what she can do for our wedding with all her amazing ideas! My mom and her are coming up with some fun stuff! This wedding is going to be so fun! I can't wait! 8 Weeks till I am Mrs. Landon! ;-) YAY!

We're Engaged!!!!!!!

FINALLY!!!! I bet is what everyone is saying! It's about time! I agree. It has been a journey already for Jordan and I, but we are officailly tying the knot on the 5th of December 2009, in the Idaho Falls Temple! We are so excited! Things are going together really well and fast, which is good since we have less then two months to go! We are having a reception here in Rexburg after the temple, then an open house in Chico the following saturday after our Honeymoon!!! (we're still deciding on that one too!) We are searching for a place to live right now and waiting to here about which one of us if not both of us are going to school in January as well, so this is going to be a crazy fun season for all of us! This is our first official blog post to let the world and our friends and family know what we are up to as we are planning our wedding as we start our journey together!
